BRESCIA
Archaeology, Medieval Heritage and Private Art Collection
(Half day)

The experience begins at the landmark of the city, the Capitolium, built by the emperor Vespasian around 73 AD. The monumental complex of San Salvatore-Santa Giulia, now home to the Civic Museum, is not only exceptional from an architectural point of view. This Medieval Benedictine convent hosted pilgrims and was an important religious, political and economic center; today it is part if the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Afterwards, an aperitif awaits you in a private Contemporary Art collection in a wonderful Palazzo. During lunch in a traditional osteria we review the impressions of the morning spanning several centuries past and return to Grand Hotel Fasano in the early afternoon.

VERONA
Renaissance Garden, Elegant Palazzi and Modern Art
(Half day)

The experience begins in Verona with a walk through a historic garden dating back to the 16th century, also visiting the apartments of the owning family at the Noble Floor of the adjoining Palazzo Giusti. After this immersion in the green, a short trip by car takes us to Piazza delle Erbe in the heart of Verona where we will visit the impressive Art collection at Palazzo Maffei highlighting its Masterpieces. Then, we suggest a lunch at the ‘12 Apostoli’ Restaurant, a culinary symbol of Verona. And after this mind-blowing sensory break, we return in the early afternoon to Grand Hotel Fasano.

VENICE
The Biennale of Visual Arts
(Full day)

We spend a full day in Venice at the Biennale, certainly one of the most important Art events in the world, where we explore first a selection of the National pavilions in the "Giardini Pubblici”. After a lunch break in a quiet Venetian bacaro, we continue our Art walk through the ‘Arsenale’: the largest manufacturing centre in the pre-industrial era overlooking the inner basin currently used as exhibition spaces. In the late afternoon, while sipping a drink, we review the impressions of the day and return to Grand Hotel Fasano in time for dinner.

MILAN
The world’s most celebrated Design city
(full day)

The experience starts from the hotel with a private transfer to Milan that takes about 1,30 hours. Once in Milan we start by walking along the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II admiring its original Art Deco galleries, then we cross Piazza Duomo towards the Museo del Novecento visiting highlights of Italian Modern and Contemporary Art. A short trip by car takes us afterwards to the Studio and Archive of Achille Castiglioni, the world-known designer. We continue with an aperitif hosted in a private Contemporary Art collection followed by a special and unique lunch break: Since 1996 ‘Joia’ is the first European vegetarian restaurant to receive a Michelin star. After this unique culinary experience, we complete our Milanese day visiting Villa Necchi Campiglio, a highlight of European Modernism, returning then to Lake Garda just in time to cool off before dinner at Grand Hotel Fasano.
