Some of northern Italy's most renowned golf courses are a short distance away from the hotel. Each is designed to challenge experts and beginners alike, and each is surrounded by abundant natural beauty.

Expert golfers consider Gardagolf to be one of the finest courses created in the past ten years. The 27-hole, 110-hectare course was designed by Golf & Gardens and the British firm Cotton, Pennick, Steel & Partners. It is nestled between the Rocca di Manerba, the Castello di Soiano and the Valtenesi hillls, offering uniquely beautiful views.

South African champion Gary Player designed this subtly undulating interpretation of the Valtenesi hills, with greens protected by circular, often crater-deep bunkers. The course, set in a landscape of rare beauty, inspires passion in experts and neophytes alike.

Nicklaus' hand is very apparent in this course, with its long, impeccably tended fairways, and emerald greens surrounded by  golden fescue. It is designed to challenge golfers of all handicaps, and is set in an exceptionally beautiful landscape.
